Surabaya (23/02) - Bertepatan dengan Hari Berpikir Sedunia (World Thinking Day) yang jatuh tepat pada tanggal 22 Februari 2023, BJTI meramaikan gelaran program Pelindo Mengajar yang serentak dilakukan di 125 SMA/SMK di seluruh Indonesia. Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud bakti BUMN pada negeri khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan untuk mencapai target pembangunan berkelanjutan yang merata di seluruh Indonesia.

Coinciding with World Thinking Day on February 22, 2023, BJTI enlivened the Pelindo Mengajar program, which was held simultaneously in 125 high schools/vocational schools throughout Indonesia. This activity is a form of service provided by state-owned enterprises to the country, particularly in the field of education, aimed at achieving the target of sustainable development throughout Indonesia.

Antusiasme terlihat dari raut wajah 150 siswa-siswi kelas XII dari berbagai jurusan di SMKN 7 Surabaya saat menerima kunjungan kelas dari Pelindo Mengajar. Hal senada juga terlihat dari Kepala Sekolah dan guru SMKN 7 Surabaya yang turut hadir dalam program ini.
Enthusiasm was evident on the faces of 150 12th-grade students from various departments at SMKN 7 Surabaya when they received a class visit from Pelindo Mengajar. The same enthusiasm was also evident from the Principal and teachers of SMKN 7 Surabaya, who were also present at this program.

Dalam sambutannya Kepala sekolah SMKN 7 Surabaya, Yoyok Tri Haryoko menyambut baik program Pelindo Mengajar dari BJTI (Pelindo Group) dengan harapan kedepannya lulusan dari SMKN 7 Surabaya dapat menjadi generasi penerus di Perusahaan BUMN.
In his speech, the Principal of SMKN 7 Surabaya, Yoyok Tri Haryoko, welcomed the Pelindo Mengajar program from BJTI (Pelindo Group) with the hope that in the future, graduates from SMKN 7 Surabaya can become the next generation of SOE employees.

Direktur Operasi dan Teknik PT BJTI, Bapak Noor Budiwan memulai pemaparan materi dengan kuis tentang istilah Pelabuhan untuk menstimulus pengetahuan siswa, dilanjutkan dengan informasi seputar industri kepelabuhanan serta peranan Pelindo dalam rantai logistik nasional. Selain itu juga mengenalkan Perusahaan BUMN kepada siswa agar lebih termotivasi untuk belajar dan menjadi generasi unggul.
The Director of Operations and Engineering at PT BJTI, Mr. Noor Budiwan, began his presentation with a quiz on port terminology to stimulate the students' knowledge, followed by an overview of the port industry and Pelindo's role in the national logistics chain. He also introduced state-owned enterprises to the students, motivating them to study and become the next generation of leaders.

“Kami berharap sharing informasi dan pengalaman pada kegiatan Pelindo Mengajar ini dapat menjadi dorongan siswa-siswi untuk belajar dan menjadi bekal di kemudian hari agar lebih berusaha dan sungguh-sungguh dalam bekerja,” ucap Noor.
“We hope that sharing information and experiences in this Pelindo Mengajar activity can encourage students to learn and prepare them for the future so that they will work harder and more diligently,” said Noor.

Lebih lanjut Noor mengatakan bahwa kegiatan Pelindo Mengajar menjadi pengalaman pertama bagi Direksi di Cucu Perusahaan Pelindo pasca merger, setelah selama ini dihadapkan dengan rutinitas pekerjaan dan target-target Perusahaan.
Noor further said that the Pelindo Mengajar activity was the first experience for the Directors of Pelindo's subsidiaries after the merger, after having been faced with routine work and company targets.

“Tentunya menjadi pengajar di SMKN 7 Surabaya merupakan sebuah tantangan tersendiri. Terlebih materi yang disampaikan haruslah ringkas namun mudah di mengerti oleh para siswa karena industri kepelabuhanan tentunya masih asing di telinga mereka,” tutup Noor.
“Of course, teaching at SMKN 7 Surabaya is a challenge in itself. Moreover, the material presented must be concise but easy for students to understand because the port industry is still unfamiliar to them,” concluded Noor.

Sebagai wujud Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan (TJSL) dalam bidang pendidikan, pada kesempatan ini juga BJTI memberikan bantuan untuk mendukung digitalisasi pendidikan dengan bantuan 3 (Tiga) unit laptop sebagai media pembelajaran TIK (teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi) dan apresiasi 1 (Satu) unit handphone untuk siswa berprestasi di SMKN 7 Surabaya.
As a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) in the field of education, on this occasion BJTI also provided assistance to support the digitization of education with 3 (three) laptops as ICT (information and communication technology) learning media and 1 (one) mobile phone as an appreciation for outstanding students at SMKN 7 Surabaya.
