Sebagai upaya meningkatkan budaya K3 di area Terminal Berlian terutama dalam menghadapi musim penghujan dan cuaca ekstrim, PT BJTI menyalurkan bantuan CSR 400 (Empat ratus) jas hujan pada Tenaga Kerja Bongkar Muat (TKBM) di Terminal Berlian.
As an effort to improve the culture of occupational health and safety (K3) in the Berlian Terminal area, especially in facing the rainy season and extreme weather, PT BJTI distributed 400 (four hundred) raincoats as CSR assistance to the Loading and Unloading Workers (TKBM) at the Berlian Terminal.

Bantuan CSR diserahkan secara simbolis pada momen resafety induction yang digelar selama 4 batch dan diserahkan oleh Direktur Operasi dan Teknik PT BJTI, Bapak Noor Budiwan dan     Ketua I Koperasi TKBM Tanjung Perak Akhmad Kholiq kepada perwakilan TKBM yang hadir.
The CSR assistance was symbolically handed over during a safety induction session held in four batches and presented by the Director of Operations and Engineering of PT BJTI, Mr. Noor Budiwan, and the Chairman of the Tanjung Perak TKBM Cooperative, Akhmad Kholiq, to representatives of the TKBM who were present.

Direktur Operasi dan Teknik PT BJTI, Noor Budiwan dalam sambutannya mengatakan bahwa bantuan ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian manajemen PT BJTI pada Tenaga Kerja Bongkar Muat (TKBM) yang bekerja di Terminal Berlian agar tetap bekerja sesuai standar K3 ketika menghadapi musim penghujan.
In his speech, PT BJTI Director of Operations and Engineering Noor Budiwan said that this assistance is a form of PT BJTI management's concern for the Loading and Unloading Workers (TKBM) working at Berlian Terminal so that they can continue to work in accordance with K3 standards during the rainy season.

“Harapannya, para TKBM bisa berangkat sehat, bekerja senang, pulang semangat. Terutama dalam menghadapi musim penghujan ini harus ekstra menjaga kesehatan dan keselamatan saat bekerja”, ucap Noor.
“The hope is that the TKBM can leave healthy, work happily, and return home with enthusiasm. Especially during this rainy season, they must take extra care to maintain their health and safety while working,” said Noor.

Pada momen ini juga, manajemen PT BJTI dan TKBM menandatangani komitmen untuk patuh dan mengimplementasikan budaya K3 dalam pekerjaan sehari-hari. Kesadaran akan budaya K3 dimulai dengan memberikan edukasi pada TKBM, saling mengingatkan satu sama lain untuk bekerja aman dan nyaman sehingga dapat mengurangi resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja.
At this moment, the management of PT BJTI and TKBM signed a commitment to comply with and implement a culture of occupational health and safety in their daily work. Awareness of occupational health and safety culture begins with educating TKBM, reminding each other to work safely and comfortably so as to reduce the risk of workplace accidents.

Kegiatan ini juga merupakan salah satu bentuk engagement manajemen PT BJTI dengan stakeholder setelah sebelumnya PT BJTI memberangkatkan 5 (Lima) orang TKBM untuk berkunjung ke Baitullah atas capaian kinerja yang baik selama ini.
This activity is also a form of engagement between PT BJTI management and stakeholders, following PT BJTI's previous decision to send five TKBM employees on a visit to Baitullah in recognition of their excellent performance to date.
